Senator Corey Booker Under Increased Protection Following Death Threat

(Newark, NJ)  —  Senator Corey Booker is under increased police protection after he and his family received a death threat. The New Jersey Democrat has a home in Newark but it’s not clear if he is presently there.  Newark Mayor Ras Baraka said the city’s police department is working with U.S. Capitol Police to provide increased security.  The nature of the threat has not been disclosed.
