(Boston, MA) — Massachusetts faces a lawsuit from 13 states over its egg law. The law requires food producers selling to Massachusetts to give adequate space for their animals to lie down, stand up, and be able to turn around freely. More than 80 percent of voters passed the law last year sponsored by Citizens for Farm Animal Protection. The lawsuit says Massachusetts is trying to dictate how other states do business.
