Kushner Is Senior Transition Official Mentioned In Flynn Documents

(Washington, DC) — Jared Kushner is reportedly the “very senior member” of the Trump presidential transition team who is referred to in court documents in the Michael Flynn plea deal.  NBC News says Kushner is the person who directed Flynn to contact officials from foreign governments, including Russia. Flynn has pleaded guilty to lying to FBI agents about talks with the Russian ambassador to the U.S. Kushner is now a senior White House adviser and President Trump’s son-in-law. In a plea deal, Flynn agreed to cooperate fully in the ongoing investigation of Russian meddling in the presidential election.
