(Houston, TX) — A new report says Katy is the drone capital of Texas, and the runner-up for the most drones in the country. The suburban community is second only to Las Vegas in the number of hobbyist drones registered with the Federal Aviation Administration. Drones are a popular gift, so the skies over Katy may be buzzing with more drones after Christmas. Data from the FAA also reveal large numbers of drones in McKinney, north of Dallas, and Cedar Park, north of Austin.
