(Washington, DC) — Senator Al Franken is under growing pressure to resign and his office says he will make an announcement tomorrow. The Minnesota Democrat has been confronting several accusations of inappropriate sexual behavior. Franken has apologized for the encounters, which occurred before he became a senator. At the Capitol today, New York Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand [[ KIR-sten JILL-ih-brand ]] said the behavior is simply not acceptable. Gillibrand is on a growing list of Democratic senators urging Franken to step down. The list includes most of the women in the Senate Democratic caucus and DNC Chairman Tom Perez.
