(Knoxville, TN)  —  There’s a growing backlash against the mother of a Tennessee middle schooler whose viral video about being bullied earned him the sympathy of a host of entertainers and sports celebrities.

Keaton Jones’ mother, Kimberly, posted the video of her son shedding tears over the treatment he receives at the hands of other students.

While his story initially garnered support, old social media posts by the mother of her standing with Confederate flags and criticizing NFL players kneeling during the national anthem are now drawing criticism.
