U.S. Soldier Killed In Niger Apparently Executed 

(Niamey, Niger)  —  One of the four U.S. soldiers killed in Niger [[ neye-JER ]] last month was reportedly executed.

A “Washington Post” report says two Nigerian villagers claim the body of Sergeant LaDavid Johnson was found bound with a wound in the back of his head.

One villager says Johnson’s body was found two days after the ambush by ISIS-affiliated terrorists that also left five Nigerian soldiers dead.

The villagers account suggests that Johnson may have been captured in the attack and later executed. An investigation is being conducted into the October 4th attack.
