Trump Considering Sending New York Terror Suspect To Gitmo

(Washington, DC)  —  President Trump  says he would consider sending the New York City attacker to Guantanamo Bay.  During his 2016 campaign, President Trump promised to “load up” Guantanamo Bay in Cuba with some quote — “really bad dudes.” However, a senior White House official told NBC News there is likely “no legal authority” to send Saipov to the infamous military prison.  Before a cabinet meeting at the White House, the President called suspect Sayfullo Saipov an animal.  Trump suggested that he got into the U.S. because of a lax immigration system and added that the U.S. is being played like “suckers” for allowing terrorists to immigrate.  He said he will ask Congress to cancel a diversity lottery immigration program.
