(Washington, DC) — A new report claims Donald Trump Jr. was in contact with WikiLeaks during the 2016 presidential election. The report in “The Atlantic” says WikiLeaks first contacted Trump Jr. in September 2016 with a private direct message on Twitter and continued sending him messages through July of this year. Trump Jr. has reportedly turned over all the messages to congressional investigators. The correspondence was largely one-sided with WikiLeaks making suggestions about Trump’s campaign or asking for comments. Trump Jr. did respond to several messages, including one message in which he asks about rumors he’d heard of a leak that was about to drop.
