(Washington, DC) — Vice President Pence is expected to meet soon with survivors of the deadly mass shooting at a Baptist church in Texas on Sunday.
Pence, along with his wife Karen Pence, arrived in San Antonio this afternoon to visit with the families of some victims of the attack that left 26 people dead and 20 others injured.
Texas law enforcement is still trying to figure out why Devin Kelley opened fire on the congregation with a semi-automatic rifle before taking his own life.
The Pences will also attend an evening prayer vigil along with Governor Greg Abbott. He killed himself after being shot by a civilian.
