(Nashville, TN) — Garth Brooks is admitting to lip-syncing last night’s performance during the CMA Awards telecast from Nashville.
Rumors began surfacing that the country music icon faked his performance.
Rather than deny it, Brooks faced up to it. He says a hectic touring schedule and stress on his voice was the reason for lip-syncing the single “Ask Me How I Know.”
According to Brooks, it was a “game time call” last night whether to sing it live or lip-sync and the decision was to lip-sync.
