(Baltimore, MD) — An 18-year veteran of the Baltimore police department is in grave condition following an afternoon shooting. Police Commissioner Kevin Davis says the homicide detective was following up on an investigation in West Baltimore when he saw a man acting in a suspicious manner. Davis says when the officer approached, the man shot him in the head. The officer was taken to Shock Trauma where he is now on full life support. The married officer is a father of two. There is a reward of up to 60-thousand-dollars for information leading to an arrest in the case.
