(Forest Park, GA) — A suspected shooter is dead and two Forest Park, Georgia police officers are recovering from bullet wounds following a shootout today.
A police major says officers were attempting to pull a driver over in suburban Atlanta when a shootout happened.
The officers’ injuries appear to be non-life threatening. One officer was shot in the neck and the leg. The shootings happened near a middle school. Both officers were transported to area hospitals.
