(Arlington, VA)  —  The Pentagon is identifying a U.S. soldier killed in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan. He’s . The Pentagon says Sims died Friday evening when his helicopter crashed in Logar Province. Six other crew members were injured in the incident but were being treated. The Army says Sims was a decorated veteran of numerous tours of duty in Iran, Afghanistan and Kosovo. He received his training as a Blackhawk helicopter pilot.
