Trump Praises Singapore For Commitment To Counterterrorism 

(Washington, DC)  —  President Trump is praising Singapore for its commitment to counterterrorism.

After meeting with Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong  at the White House today, Trump noted strong ties between the two nations, notably in security and trade.  The two leaders praised a new deal between Singapore and Boeing.  Boeing is selling more than three-dozen planes to Singapore in a nearly 14-billion dollar deal.

The meeting came before Trump’s big Asia trip next month.  Trump will visit Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam and the Philippines.
