Suspect In Texas Tech Shooting Captured

Cops all around, during the Texas Tech shooting

(Lubbock, TX)  —  The suspect in a shooting that left a Texas Tech police officer dead is in custody.  The shooting happened when police at the Lubbock university brought a student into the station for questioning after a wellness check.  The suspect fled the scene, causing the university to be put on lockdown until he was captured.  The university has given the all-clear, but is telling students to avoid the police department and the north side of campus.
