Nearly 300 People Still Missing In Deadly California Wildfires

(Santa Rosa, CA)  —  Firefighters continue to battle wildfires in Northern California while police try to track down people reported missing. Sonoma County Sheriff Rob Giordano said they’ve located over 300 people, but there are still 285 people on their missing list. At least 21 people have died in the fires and most of those deaths have been in Sonoma County. Some 35-hundred homes and buildings have been lost. There are 22 fires burning across California, scorching more than 170-thousand acres.
