Material Recovery Facility Shown As Best Recycling Facility

(Dallas, TX)  —  A Dallas recycling facility is being named the best in North America. The brand new Dallas material recovery facility was named the best in North America by the National Waste and Recycling Association. The facility has the capability to process 140-thousand tons of recycled materials, paper, glass, metal and plastic in a year and can handle up to 40 tons every hour. The MRF is part of the Dallas Zero Waste Plan, which aims to have 40 percent recyclable waste by 2020.
