Longtime Houston Costume Shop Goes For One Last Run

(Houston, TX)  —  A longtime Houston costume store is having its last Halloween this month. Frankel’s Costume Shop has been in business on the city’s east side for 67 years.  The store’s owners, Terrie and Lonnie Frankel, are in their 70s and are ready to retire. They say they’ve sold the store’s Polk Street location and plan to shut down sometime after helping outfit the city’s Thanksgiving Day Parade one last time.
