(Dallas, TX) — Dallas police are trying to find whoever placed a hoax bomb outside an abortion clinic.
It was discovered this morning at Southwest Women’s Surgery Center on Greenville near Royal. Pro-Life Catholic Committee says they alerted officers to the fake bomb because it was near their prayer box.
Investigators think whoever placed the device was trying to scare people.
An excerpt from Dallas New reported that “A dozen police units, including the Police Department’s bomb squad, were sent to the scene. The unit’s bomb robot pulled the package out of a row of hedges. Police determined nearly five hours later that the package was harmless, but they believe it was intended to spark fear, Executive Assistant Chief David Pughes said at a news conference.
