(Las Vegas, NV) — The Las Vegas shooter may have planned to escape from police after shooting hundreds of bullets into a crowded concert on the strip. Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said yesterday that there is evidence that indicates 64-year-old Stephen Paddock planned to escape from police after carrying out the mass shooting on the Vegas strip. Lombardo did not provide any details on what that evidence is. He says there are also indications that Paddock had some kind of help. At least 59 people, including the shooter, died after Sunday night’s attack at a Las Vegas music festival, and nearly 500 others were injured. Police are still working to find a motive. Paddock’s girlfriend has returned to the U.S. from the Philippines and is set to be questioned by FBI this afternoon.
