(Undated) — Today is the deadline for thousands of illegal immigrants brought to the U.S. as children to re-register for protection against being deported. The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA program, is set to expire in a few months without Congressional action. About 150-thousand of the 800-thousand people covered by DACA are eligible to reapply to keep protection through at least March 5th. Applications can be completed online with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
