(Houston, TX) — A Houston church is extending the hours of operation for a FEMA center on its grounds. The Disaster Recovery Center at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church will expand its hours to include Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. FEMA centers located at churches are usually closed on Sundays so as not to interfere with worship activities. The center will be open seven days a week until at least the extended deadline of November 24th.
