(Washington, DC) — A South Texas supporter of President Trump is under arrest on claims he threatened U.S. Senator Ted Cruz. Sources tell “San Antonio Express-News” James Headley called up Cruz’s Senate office in Washington, DC last week and threatened to shoot Cruz and his family to death. The report suggests Headley was angry at Cruz for not toeing the line with Trump’s policies. Headley is charged with threatening to assault and murder a public official.
