The Astros have placed ace Dallas Keuchel on the 10-day disabled
list due to neck discomfort, and there is no timetable for his
return.
The left-hander was scratched moments before Wednesday’s
scheduled start because of what manager A.J. Hinch said was an
illness. Instead, Keuchel, who missed a start in May due to a
pinched nerve in his neck, traveled to Houston to have his neck
examined. The 2015 AL Cy Young Award winner is 9-0 with a major
league-leading 1.67 ERA.
