(Irving, TX) — A new agreement in Major League Baseball will change the way home field advantage is determined in the World Series.
Before, it went to the league that won the All-Star Game.
A new collective bargaining agreement says it will now go to the team with the best season record.
Other items addressed in the agreement include a reduction in the minimum time for players on the disabled list from 15 games to ten.
The agreement still has to be agreed up on by Major League Baseball players and owners.
