(New Orleans, LA) — One of two men sought in connection with a deadly shooting in New Orleans’ French Quarter is in custody.
Authorities today said Jordan Clay, of Lafayette, Louisiana, is in the St. Martin Parish Jail while a second suspect remains at-large.
A gunman shot into a crowd of tourists on Bourbon Street Sunday, killing a man and wounding nine other people.
Clay is expected to be extradited to New Orleans and police said he’ll be charged with second-degree murder.
Police said they believe a dispute between Clay and the unidentified second suspect happened before they started shooting.
Police say Clay knew the second suspect and that the people hit by gunfire were innocent bystanders.
