FBI Interviewing Texas Muslims Over Alleged Threat

(Dallas, TX) — The Council on American-Islamic Relations is confirming that FBI agents are interviewing Muslims in Texas and three other states over an alleged Al Qaeda terror threat.

On its Facebook page, CAIR [[ care ]] is advising Muslims to politely decline the interviews unless they have an attorney present. The organization says it will supply an attorney free of charge.

On Friday, CBS News reported that U.S. intelligence officials are on alert that Al Qaeda could be planning an attack on the day before Election Day, but there were no specifics given.
