(Washington, DC) — The Donald J. Trump Foundation is under growing scrutiny.
The New York Attorney General’s office has ordered the charitable foundation to stop fundraising immediately.
The order accuses the foundation of violating state law by soliciting donations without proper certification.
The Trump campaign is questioning the motives of the order, noting that Attorney General Eric Schneiderman is a Democrat who supports Hillary Clinton for president.
