(Undated) — As early voting begins in Texas, a new poll shows Hillary Clinton within striking distance of Donald Trump in the traditionally red Lone Star State.
The survey by CBS News and YouGov has 43 percent of likely voters choosing the Democrat and 46 percent in Trump’s corner.
The poll’s margin of error means the race is essentially a dead heat. No Democrat has won a statewide race in Texas in two decades.
