(Austin, TX) — You can add another 85,000 voters to the number of Texans ready and able to cast ballots November 8th.
The Secretary of State’s Office yesterday said a last-minute surge of applications sent the record-breaking number of registered voters in Texas to 15.1 million, considerably more than last week’s preliminary estimate.
About 78% of the state’s voting-age population is registered to vote next month.
