West Texas police believe a school shooter was planning on killing her stepbrother, then herself.
Alpine police say the 14-year-old’s plot was interrupted last Thursday when a schoolmate saw her with the gun in a bathroom. The armed teen shot her schoolmate once, before turning the gun on herself. The victim survived, but the shooter didn’t.
Officers are still trying to figure out why the girl wanted her stepbrother dead.
