Tulsa Officer Charged In Shooting Death Of Black Man

(Tulsa, OK) — A warrant has been issued for the Tulsa, Oklahoma police officer involved in the fatal shooting of an unarmed black man.

District Attorney Stephen Kunzweiler today said Officer Betty Shelby is being charged with manslaughter in the first-degree in the death of Terence Crutcher.

The 40-year-old Crutcher was shot beside his vehicle in the middle of a road early this week.
