(San Antonio, TX) — A San Antonio mattress store plans to make amends for its widely criticized 9-11 parody ad by announcing this week plans to donate to the “9-11 Memorial and victims funds.”
Miracle Mattress closed it doors indefinitely Friday after receiving national attention over its “Twin Towers” sale offering any size mattress for the “twin” bed price. The ad featured the store manager and two employees screaming as two towers of stacked mattresses toppled.
A letter posted on the door of its closed business Friday stated that Miracle Mattress would remain silent through the 9-11 anniversary.
