FBI Says Houston Explosives Arrest Unrelated To NY, NJ Bombings

(Houston, TX) — The FBI says the arrest of a Houston man, charged with plotting the bombing of a building, is unrelated to terrorism incidents in New York, New Jersey and Minnesota.
Cary Ogborn was arraigned yesterday in Houston federal court on charges of attempting to transport explosives with the intent to use them to injure or to destroy property.
Authorities say Ogborn was arrested Friday after picking up a package he believed contained explosives.
The FBI says it was a sting operation.
