Cruz Demands End To Middle East Refugee Program

(Washington, DC) — Texas Senator Ted Cruz is demanding an end to the U.S. Middle East refugee program following the apparent terror attacks in New York and New Jersey over the weekend.
In a written statement to the media yesterday, the Texas Republican said, quote, “We can’t overcome our enemies by pretending they don’t exist.”
Cruz has been a vocal critic of the Obama administration’s efforts to bring tens of thousands of refugees from Middle Eastern countries to the U.S. for resettlement.
Cruz is calling on President Obama to identify radical Islam as the culprit in recent attacks.
