(Newark, NJ) — The 28-year-old Elizabeth man accused of planting bombs in New York and New Jersey over the weekend is being held on five-point-two-million-dollars bail.
Ahmad Khan Rahami is charged with attempted murder of a police officer, following a gun battle with cops in Linden yesterday that led to his arrest.
Federal charges related to bombs, including the one in Chelsea that injured 29 people, are pending.
Rahami underwent surgery at University Hospital in Newark yesterday after being shot multiple times, including in the leg.
