Wasserman Schultz To Resign As DNC Chair

(Philadelphia, PA) — Debbie Wasserman Schultz says she will resign as chair of the Democratic National Committee at the end of this week’s party convention.

Schultz issued a statement today saying she will still open and close each day of the convention.

The Florida congresswoman has come under fire after hacked emails emerged that raised questions about the party’s impartiality in the Democratic primaries.
