(New York, NY) — Verizon will buy out tech giant Yahoo in a deal worth nearly five-billion-dollars.
The deal is expected to be announced today. Included in the sale are Yahoo’s core internet business and some real estate.
Yahoo is just the latest web-based company to be acquired by Verizon. Last year the communications company bought AOL in a deal worth over $4 billion.
