(Undated) — Texas Republicans appear to be lining up with likely presidential nominee Donald Trump. Two prominent lawmakers from our state were confirmed yesterday as speakers at next week’s Republican National Convention. The junior senator from Texas, Ted Cruz, will speak at the event, although he has yet to endorse his former rival. Texas Congressman Michael McCaul, chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security, will speak during primetime on the first night of the convention. Another Texan, former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell, will also speak to delegates.
