(New York, NY) — Roger Ailes is out as the head of Fox News Channel.
The company says he has resigned as chairman and chief executive following sexual harassment allegations.
Former Fox News host Gretchen Carlson has sued the 76-year-old Ailes for sexual harassment. Ailes, who led Fox News for 20 years, has denied the allegations.
The company says 21st Century Fox head Rupert Murdoch will take over as chairman and acting CEO of Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network.
