(New York, NY) — The head of Fox News is reportedly being ousted from his job. According to “New York” magazine, 21st Century Fox co-chairman Rupert Murdoch and his sons are planning to remove Roger Ailes from his position as chairman and CEO of the news network.
Ailes could be out of a job as early as this week.
Sources say Murdoch and his sons agree that Ailes has to go after reviewing findings of an investigation into sexual harassment allegations by former Fox News anchor Gretchen Carlson. She claimed she was let go for not giving in to Ailes’ sexual advances. Ailes has denied the accusations, calling Carlson’s move a “retaliatory suit.”
