KTXT-FM To Pre-Empt Noon-Hour BBC

KTXT-FM will pre-empt its normal noon-hour BBC programming today in order to broadcast a special 2-hour program from KERA in Dallas regarding yesterday’s shootings there.

The KERA News Think Special will air from noon until 2pm this afternoon on KTXT-FM, Texas Tech’s student-run radio station. The program will be hosted by “Think” host Krys Boyd, who will talk to experts, reporters, civil rights figures and listeners who will call-in to the program. KERA is the public broadcast outlet serving the Dallas Metroplex.

KTXT-FM is part of Audio Texas, a collaboration of Public, Community and College radio stations in Texas who share news and other informative content between the participants. KERA is making this programming possible through the Audio Texas collaboration.
