Man Impersonates Cop- Ends Up in Jail

police-lightsA Florida man’s idea of impersonating a cop is landing him in hot water with real life officers.

Authorities say Joshua Lynam was driving down Interstate 110 in Pensacola on Friday, when he decided to pull up behind a random car and conduct a fake traffic stop.  The car happened to be a deputy in an unmarked vehicle.

When the real officer asked Lynam for an I.D., Lynam said he didn’t have one.

He was charged with impersonating an officer, but was then released from Escambia County Jail on a one-thousand-dollar bail.
