The FBI will not conduct a civil rights investigation into the shooting death of an unarmed black man by an Oklahoma reserve sheriff’s deputy.
Reserve Deputy Robert Bates says he meant to grab his taser, but accidentally fired his gun at Eric Harris as authorities tried to arrest him on April 2nd during an undercover investigation into illegal gun sales. Bates has been charged with manslaughter.
