Coming off a disaster 27 – 82 loss against the TCU Horned Frogs, your Texas Tech Red Raiders are looking to rebound against the University of Texas Longhorns on Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Jones AT&T Stadium. Your KTXT staff is here again, to give you their predictions on the game.

“I’m feeling a Tech victory with a score of 35-28.”
SCORE PREDICTION: 35-28

“Well, since I was right about my last prediction (Tech vs. Kansas, 100-2), I believe Tech will continue their awesome playership on Saturday and kick some Bevo butt with a score of 200-2. Like Kanye West says, ‘It’s not safe for you in this zoo.'”

“Since UT has recently hasn’t been winning as much I believe the score will be close and we might have a chance at winning if we get our stuff together. I would say the score will be 24-18 with Texas Tech coming out with the win.”

(Sidenote; DG said many things that I wish I had my recorder handy for, but he feels Texas Tech will stink it up a little more than Texas will.)

MY TAKE
I think this is the most anticlimactic Tech-Texas game in the history of Tech-Texas games. You have two 3-5 teams coming in who have both played pretty terrible this season. Charlie Strong has been a head coach much longer than Kliff, but Kingsbury has the entire city of Lubbock in his corner. And, although we were beaten by 55 points, at least we managed to put points on the board. I’m going to have faith in my school and say this will be a low scoring affair, 28-21 with Tech coming away with the win.
