TEXAS- Texas Special elections took place last night for district 28 and Charles Perry will remain, but will have a different chair. His new chair once held by Texas Tech’s own Chancellor Robert Duncan. During an interview Chancellor Duncan the former legislature said “Charles is a strong supporter of Texas Tech and this region,” Chancellor Duncan also said “Charles Perry was an incumbent who did a good job and so it is no surprise that he was able to win that.” Perry tallied 53 percent votes last night and his opponent former Texas Tech Vice Chancellor Jodey Arrington, finished with 30 percent.
