(Ipswich, Australia) — An Australian teen is facing a number of charges after allegedly trying to rob a 7-Eleven while wielding a chainsaw and wearing a flower pot on his head.
Police say Steven Frank Steele was drunk when he walked into the service station in his unusual disguise with the chainsaw running. After the two attendants quickly fled to the back of the room, Steele used the weapon do some damage to the store’s windows and shelves. He then reportedly exposed his rear end, grabbed a bottle of soda, and walked out.
Police arrested him as he was walking down the street, and charged him with armed robbery.
The “Queensland Times” says Steele will remain in custody until his case is heard again next month.
