Saturday will begin cold, but clear. Temperatures will range from the freezing-mark on the far northwest side of town, to mid 30’s inside the loop, and upper 30’s on the southeast side. Winds will be light, in the 5-10 MPH range, but still high enough to make it feel a few degrees colder.
With plenty of sunshine, and a southerly breeze, temperatures will warm quickly after sunrise. Lubbock should be in the lower 60’s by noon, and in the mid 60’s at Kickoff, under mostly sunny skies.
However, another round of chilly air arrives after sunset. Many may start the game in long-sleeves, but will need a jacket by final play. Temperatures should be in the lower 50’s by 10 PM. Again winds will be light, but it doesn’t take much to add to the already cool temperatures.
Enjoy Saturday’s beautiful weather, increasing clouds are in our Sunday forecast!
