Temperatures will warm quickly through Monday afternoon. High temperatures will reach the upper 90’s in the Hub City, under mostly sunny skies. Winds will be out of the south 10-15 mph, with a few afternoon gusts above 20 mph.
After a few days of rainfall, rain chances will be near zero through most of the work week. Due of previous rainfall, slightly higher humidity levels combined with hot temperatures will lead to elevated heat indices. It will feel even hotter than what the actual air temperature is.
Try to avoid outdoor activity during the hottest part of the day. No matter where you are, remember to drink plenty of water as we head into the ‘dog days’ of summer.
